<p><\/p><p>pxl_20220627_150637755.portrait-collage.jpg<\/p><p><strong>Back to Civilization<\/strong><\/p><p><\/p><p>After spending some time in very secluded areas, we are now on our way to Sandusky, OH. And that also means back to civilization. On June 26, 2022 we enter the St. Clair River (thanks again, Dave, for the fantastic screen shots from the Port Huron live cam!) and spend the night at anchor in the Metro Beach Park Basin after a 186 mile nonstop trip down Lake Huron to Lake St. Clair. That happens when you have an appointment when sailing. We have made plans with our son Kai to meet him on July 1, so no time to dawdle. Then down the Detroit River it goes, across Lake Erie to Kelleys Island and on July 1, we tie up at Paper District Marina in Sandusky, OH, ready for our rendezvous with Kai.<\/p><p><\/p><p><\/p><p><strong>ZurÁ¼ck in die Zivilisation<\/strong><\/p><p><\/p><p>Nachdem wir einige Zeit in sehr abgelegenen Gebieten verbracht haben, sind wir nun auf dem Weg nach Sandusky, OH. Und das heiÁŸt auch: zurÁ¼ck in die Zivilisation. Am 26. Juni 2022 laufen wir in den St. Clair River ein (nochmal Danke, Dave, fÁ¼r die fantastischen Livecam shots) und verbringen die Nacht vor Anker im Metro Beach Park Basin nach einer 186 Meilen langen Non-Stop-Reise den Huron-See hinunter zum St. Clair-See. Das passiert, wenn man beim Segeln einen Termin hat. Wir haben uns mit unserem Sohn Kai fÁ¼r den 1. Juli verabredet, also bleibt keine Zeit zum TrÁ¶deln. Dann geht es den Detroit River hinunter, Á¼ber den Eriesee nach Kelly's Island und am 1.
